The descent

Photographed with a Sigma 120-300mm f2.8 lens I really wanted to try and capture an image that not only encapsulated the vastness of the environment, but also the harsh reality of living in this land entails. With some sand dunes as high as 325m, this is a challenging environment to work in, and I spent hours each day hiking up and down the hot dunes in search of a lone oryx making its way across them.
