After spending two years following Savuti’s Marsh Pride documenting the Savage Kingdom series for National Geographic, it was hard not to be emotionally invested in their story. Every time I return to the park, it is like reconnecting with old friends. While their constant conflict continues to challenge the pride dynamics, strong bonds mean they are still intimately connected to one another.
