2019 was a year of shifting focus. After spending the previous three years almost solely in the bush, I wanted to spent 2019 pursuing other goals and focusing on other projects. Although I spent less than 60 days in the bush in 2019, the time away seemed to focus my creativity and passion. After nearly 600 days in the bush since the start of 2016, I began to let monotony turn into complacency. I believe the break has been a well needed reminder of what I love and hope to achieve going forward. I am so inspired and focused on the next stage of my photographic career, and I have so many ideas and projects I want to work on this year.
So that being said here are my favourite images from the year. Although I spent so little time photographing wildlife, I really am proud of the images I created, and I would love to hear what you think!
I cannot thank everyone enough for the continued support of my photography through 2019, and I cant wait to share so much more in 2020.
